About Daniel Ostwind
After graduating from Sydney Boys High I entered the world of finance as a runner for Mcintosh securities. This led to a trainee job as a chit writer for Tullet & Tokyo on the Sydney Futures Exchange. From chit writer to market commentator on the company internal squawk box, I soon found my way as a back-up trader for Tullets in the 90 day bank-bill trading pit. At 24 I was head trader with Fay Richwite in the 90 day bank-bill pit which started my carreer as a trader. Over the course of trading for over 25 years, trading my own account or propriatary trading, I worked in conjunction with firms such as State Bank NSW, FIMAT, MF Global, Aliom,Genesis and Bell Potter Securities. Middle age brought upon less appetite for risk, therefore pivoting towards Mortgage Advising where I'm able to harness the capital markets experience I've earned over the years into helping clients make informed choices on Interest rate decisions.
