I am a hardworking individual looking to put my enthusiasm, drive, and dedication to work for a company or organization of like-minded people. I am very community-focused; I value helping the team reach the goal over personal recognition. Beyond my focus on Marketing, I also study Philosophy which has enabled me to consider additional perspectives and views on issues. Philosophy stood out to me because I have always sought to understand things from multiple perspectives, allowing me to adapt to any situation. Some of my strengths (as identified by CliftonStrengths) are Positivity, Harmony, Adaptability, Winning Others Over, and Including others. Ensuring that all voices are given a chance to be heard is really important to me, some of the most profound insights I have heard from people who might not often engage regularly in dialogue. By ensuring that all ideas are heard, we help to ensure that ideas are more well-rounded and enable us to adjust accordingly, preventing more unfavorable outcomes compared to an unfiltered idea. My fascination with people and my desire for understanding enable me to learn quickly, understand deeply, and adapt efficiently. I am capable of following directions and obtaining results while also being self-directed and operating with only a general goal. Prior to seeking my Bachelor's degree, I was homeschooled which taught me valuable skills such as being self-driven, self-directed, and self-sufficient. My experience in areas such as food service and hospitality has taught me valuable lessons that I use every day. Very early on in my work experience, I learned how to work efficiently in teams, customer service skills, and an amazing ability to tell stories. I look forward to applying these skills to the marketing industry and the business world as a whole.
