Leadership drives Culture, and Culture drives Performance. Throughout my career I have been very fortunate to be mentored and developed by great leaders and effective organisations. Over time I have applied my learning to install appropriate disciplines enabling the very best performance in a number of teams, underpinned by values and behaviours. I strongly believe in employee communications and engagement, and that employees do not necessarily work for a brand, or the pay, but rather they are engaged in the vision, objectives and feel empowered by their leaders, who are the most important influencers in their careers. I strongly advocate for employee training, development and as a leader believe it is my responsibility to develop their skills and capability to deliver results for the business. I have been fortunate to lead the design and implementation of departmental structures that delivered strategic objectives, strong growth, profitability and an improved customer experience. I have a strong Sales, Marketing & Business Development skill set. Throughout my career I have developed and implemented appropriate Sales Framework’s that resulted in Growth, Customer Retention and an improvement in our Branding and Market Positioning. In this modern world, I have a passion for implementing Digital Tools and creating a tech savvy environment to deliver improvement in our Customer Experience, business Efficiency and an overall improvement in Productivity. As a leader, I am accountable and responsible for my People and it is People that are an Organisation’s greatest asset. It’s important our People understand the appropriate Values, Behaviours and that Diversity is a key ingredient to the success of our business. Recruitment is a key element of this, over time I have built the best teams and with patience and strong emotional intelligence I have selected the right members to join our journey. I enjoy life, family and the network of friends I have. It’s important to me that I wake everyday, excited to uncover the next opportunity or to solve the next problem.
