Experienced and well motivated IT professional with over 20 years experience in the IT sector. Always setting new challenges professionally and personally. Which comes from a firm belief that we should never stop learning and growing as individuals. Knowledge of Microsoft Server, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft InTune Mobile device management, IP Networking, Mobile devices and Mobile payment services. My recent roles have been in the mobile payments space, since Nokia rolled out mobile billing support for mobile gaming in the early My role evolved and after I joined Microsoft I started rolling out the Microsoft 'non-sim' mobile billing solution for Xbox and Windows 10 to operator partners such as Orange, Hutchison Group operators, Swisscom and many other partners. In total I have helped my team enable 40+ carrier connection across the globe. My role has kept evolving and I now help to maintain live billing connections as well as help plan and execute marketing campaigns related to Microsoft products and mobile billing. Working as the Carrier Partnerships Director at Infomedia has given me an insight into a more sales based role where I had to target mobile operators to align with the company strategy. During my time I expanded the company in Canada and learnt about creating sales strategies that aligned with the broader company strategy. Although mobile billing has been my primary role for the past years, I have a very strong technical background. I have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Server, Linux and related products and I have been working hard to my knowledge of Microsoft and Linux platforms up-to date. I even run my own mixed Microsoft Active Directory / Azure / Linux infrastructure at home. I have been working to increase my knowledge of Microsoft Azure and I have recently completed my MCP Implementing Azure Infrastructure Solutions. Outside of my work life I like to keep fit, both physically and mentally I think this has a positive effect on my work. I spend a lot of my time in the pool swimming but I have also taken up Callisthenics and Yoga. You are never too old to learn new skills! I also teach children to swim at a local swim school.
