About Daniel Pecher

After finishing my masters studies at Faculty of Pharmacy, Comenius University in Bratislava, I continued as PhD. student at the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Nuclear Pharmacy of the same faculty and also as a part of the team at Antidoping and Toxicological Centre FaF UK. The main aim of my PhD. thesis was development, validation, and application of HPLC-MS (Q-TOF/QqQ) methods for determination of thiopurines and their metabolites in biological samples from patients with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. I also worked on multiple other projects and applications of HPLC-UV/MS, e.g. identifications of newly synthetized compounds by HRMS and MS/MS, and determination of their purity; determination of various drugs and endogenous compounds in different matrices (including herbal); etc. Besides, I also participated on financial management and administration support (preparation of applications and reports, management of finances, preparation of orders (incl. SAP), etc.) of the various grants - APVV, VEGA, KEGA. I finished my PhD. studies in 2019 and I work at the same department since. During my masters studies, I started a part-time job at State Institute of Drug Control (Štátny ústav pre kontrolu liečiv), where I work until today. I work there as Quality Assessor preparing the assessment reports for Module 3 of registration documentation, ASMF, or in case of post-registration variations (including herbal drug products).
