About Daniel Perkins

I'm an experienced broadcaster with 14 years of experience across various different media outlets, from Radio City 1386am as well as commentating on live Swansea City games for SwansTV when required. I have nearly 10 years of football commentary experience being part of various teams working at the Swansea.com Stadium (formerly the Liberty Stadium), I am the lead commentator providing energetic, in-depth and exciting commentary. I have covered games at several stadiums around the country, including at Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham, Reading, Luton, QPR, Millwall and Wembley for the 2020 playoff final. I am also part of a team, when needed, to commentate for Ospreys games. I hosted my own show every Sunday (One Bloke in a Studio) playing a variety of music with news and sports roundups. I also have experience working with the BBC Wales Sport team. I also maintain a YouTube channel with a friend, a gaming channel designed to meet and exceed the mould of current YouTube 'let's players'. We commentate on video games (while playing) in a humorous manner for a more mature target audience. I have become self-taught in the art of video editing and thoroughly enjoy this new project. I am also in control of the social media aspect, running the Twitter and Facebook feeds. Ideally, I would like to find a suitable role in media and I'm willing to work towards relevant qualifications to go along with my sizeable experience. I am extremely proud to be able to commentate with Radio City 1386am and treasure each moment while giving my all to improve my abilities and enhance my contacts within the profession.
