About Daniel Petitjean

I have served in the French Air Force (FAF) for 28 years. I graduated from the French Air Force Academy with a two-year technical degree in aircraft on-board electronics. I completed comprehensive training in air freight import/export, airport customs, aviation regulations, passenger processing, and weight and balance for Airbus A310/A340 aircraft. From 2003 to 2014, I worked as a Flight Dispatcher and Load Planner at various military air terminals in France and abroad. From 2014 to 2020, I worked as a Technical Aviation English Instructor for adults and as an Instructional Designer. I taught courses such as B1 Mechanics, B2 Avionics, Air Terminal Operations, and Simplified Technical English. From 2020 until the end of 2024, I worked as an Air Terminal Operations Manager at Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Since January 2025, I have been working as a LEAP Engine Instructor and Instructional Designer at the Safran Aircraft Engines Customer Training Center in Montereau-sur-le-Jard. I am accustomed to working irregular schedules and adapt quickly to new environments. I am fluent in French and Italian, and I have a C1 level in English.
