About Daniel Petroni

As the Executive Director of Seattle Allergy & Asthma Research Institute (SAARI), Dr. Petroni leads and conducts clinical trials and studies on various allergic and immunologic conditions, with a special focus on food allergy and immunodeficiency. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles on these topics, and has contributed to the development of novel therapeutic strategies and FDA-approved treatments for patients with severe allergies and immune disorders. Dr. Petroni also practices as a physician at Northwest Asthma & Allergy Center, where he provides comprehensive and personalized care for children and adults with allergic and immunologic diseases. He completed his Allergy and Immunology fellowship at the University of Washington, after finishing his Pediatrics residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center. He holds both an MD and a PhD in Pharmacology from Tulane University School of Medicine, where he gained extensive research and teaching experience. Dr. Petroni is passionate about advancing the field of allergy and immunology through clinical and academic excellence, and is committed to improving the quality of life and health outcomes of his patients and the community.
