A Technical Pre-Sales Engineer and Solutions Architect who turns customer expectations and critical business issues into high-value findings with actionable guidance. I also create technical and training collateral and advise customers on their processes and tools. I work on large and small accounts and am as comfortable presenting to developers as to C-level executives. I’m an application security engineer who empowers development teams with the knowledge, skills, and tools to write secure software. With a background in building practical cybersecurity and application security training and extensive experience as a sales engineer in cybersecurity, I’m now seeking out my next challenge in the application security space. Technical credibility comes from a strong technical background. Before entering technical sales, I specified (Systems Engineering) and developed (Software Engineering) embedded control systems for aerospace and defense, material handling, and high-speed robotics. Based on components of the Enterprise Selling Methodology and the Great Demo! methods, my demo philosophy is to show the product early in the presentation to get the audience’s interest, then keep that interest by guiding the audience through the business value while demonstrating compelling product capabilities.
