About Daniel Quek

With over 10 years of experience in HR data analytics and process automation, I am a proficient and creative professional who leverages data-driven solutions to enhance organisational effectiveness and employee satisfaction. I have a strong background in using Python, Tableau, SAP, AI, and RPA to automate, optimise, and visualise HR processes and data especially in strategic workforce planning. Currently, I am the HR Data Analytics Manager at Singapore Department of Statistics (DOS), where I implement data-driven solutions and automations to enhance HR processes and performance. I developed dashboards and presentations for senior management to support decision-making: a. HR Manpower Dashboard (Headcount, workforce, outflow, job rotation) b. Outflow Reporting c. Talent Matrix d. Secondment I also analysed HR data to identify trends and patterns in the following areas: a. Attrition b. Qualification vs Performance c. Impact of Job Rotation & Secondment on Staff Retention Rate d. Officers' Skills Demographics & Gaps e. Predictive analysis on staff attrition I also presented in HR Community of Practice (HR CoP) to government agencies on HR analytics and work improvement processes. Shared useful studies and tools to improve HR analytics as one Whole of Government (WOG). Lastly, I am passionate about developing innovative and efficient solutions that enhance the HR function and the employee experience.
