About Daniel Ragheb

I am a medical student completing my final year before continuing on to surgical residency. I have focused my time in medical school on service, policy, medical education, and research. These medicine-adjacent passions have filled me with joy whenever I'm not in the operating room! I have had the incredible opportunity to lead or found a number of organizations during my time at Vanderbilt, including service, policy, mentorship, curricular, and social organizations. Outside of the hospital, I love joining city-wide basketball and volleyball leagues, learning new sports, exploring local coffee shops or mom-and-pop restaurants, and meeting new friends in diverse fields. During my undergraduate education, I took courses at Harvard College, Harvard Kennedy School, and Harvard Business School. The majority of my college roles included fostering community, such as being Chief of Staff for Harvard Model Congress or Social Chair for my improv group, or fostering health, such as practicing emergency medicine or offering peer counseling.
