About Daniel Reich

As a Patent Examiner at USPTO, I research and evaluate patent applications in the field of vehicle controls and navigation, ensuring that they meet the criteria of novelty, usefulness, and non-obviousness. I have completed over 350 patent office actions for applications worth over $250K in applicant fees, collaborating with applicants to find paths to narrow the scope of claims and advance prosecution toward allowance. I have a keen interest and knowledge in the everchanging subject matter of sensing, artificial intelligence, and actuation in land, air, water, hybrid, and/or autonomous vehicles. I graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2020, where I gained valuable skills and experience in manufacturing processes, product engineering, and value engineering. I completed five internships at The Home Depot and National Grid, where I applied my analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities to identify and implement cost reduction, quality improvement, and product development opportunities. I am passionate about innovation, optimization, and customer satisfaction in the engineering field.
