About Daniel Reubens

Dr. Reubens' background includes rigorous training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with an added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle surgery at Boston University School of Medicine affiliated Boston Medical Center, an academic and tertiary care hospital and Level I trauma center located in Boston, Massachusetts that provides safety net hospital access to vulnerable patients. During his residency he worked extensively with the diabetic foot and limb salvage surgery in medically and socially complex patients. As Chief Resident Dr. Reubens was the first ever recipient of the Dr. Geoffrey M. Habershaw Memorial Award for Research and Teaching for his dedication to research and the education of junior residents and rotating students. Following graduation, he went on to further his skills by pursuing fellowship training in Advanced Foot and Ankle Surgery through University Hospitals at the only CPME and ACFAS dual accredited fellowship program. During his fellowship he worked in a high volume sports medicine practice seeing a patient population heavy in athletes and pediatrics and performed numerous surgeries ranging from trauma to reconstructions and utilizing Ilizarov fixation and minimally invasive techniques where needed.
