Aristotle defined humans as "rational animals." Part of what that means is that we must make sure that what we think and do makes sense to ourselves and those with whom we interact. As a technical editor, I get to maximize communication and understanding between different parties. This is such a welcome and unique opportunity to merge my past in philosophy with my present in technology. My background includes an extensive study and multiple degrees in philosophy along with jobs in the IT, healthcare, legal, and customer service fields. My unique combination of work and school experience helps me appreciate the different and unique roles people occupy, enabling me to assess breakdowns in communication, pinpoint lapses and misunderstandings, and implement meaningful solutions.
