About Daniel Roberts

I am an experienced and hardworking technician who recently moved from Wisconsin to Portland, Oregon in order to be closer to my family. I've worked both as a Meter Technician as well as a Computer Technician for the last 25 years. I enjoy working independently with hardware and technology as well as helping customers. I love troubleshooting and solving problems for customers. I spent my first career in the restaurant business, where I enjoyed cooking and working with the kitchen teams. The fast paced challenge of working in the kitchen was a lot of fun. I then transitioned to working with technology as a Computer Technician. I started out at IBM and then moved to working at Harlan Financial Services. In both of these roles, I was able to use my understanding of technology and computer systems to troubleshoot and solve problems for customers. I loved leaving a job site having solved an issue for the customer, making their business run more smoothly, and leaving them satisfied. For the last 10 years, I worked as a Meter Technician where I used my past skill with hardware and customer service to help ensure that customers had accurate meter readings. I focused on accuracy and safety in that role. Now that I've moved to Portland, I'm excited to find a role where I can help serve customers and continue to work with technology. In my free time, I love cooking, gardening, and spending time with my family.
