I started to play the cornet in the Salvation Army at the age of six. Since then I have had many professional experiences in my playing career to name a few: recordings at Abbey road playing cornet live at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, London 2012 various tours around the globe. USA, Australia, Singapore, Bangkok and Canada to name a few. playing in the house band at the Royal Shakespeare Company - Matilda was my last show playing in the West End playing in many of the worlds most famous concert halls. being a member of the world famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band touring with the number 1 world ranked brass band, Cory recordings solos on brass band albums. I have been very lucky in my musical career to be able to fit all this in while being a Head of Music & Drama at an Academy in County Durham.
