A Senior Developer & Solution Architect with proven depth & breadth of experience, most recently in digital transformation projects. With a background designing and developing solutions in the vast ATG (Oracle) eCommerce platform, I have assisted clients to move away from the monolith to a Cloud Microservices Architecture. Roles have varied between Senior Developer/Solution Architect, for example: Advising senior stakeholders on how to scale up their Integration (SOA) topology to meet the requirement of zero downtime whilst major new markets (eg China) are being intrduced.(IKEA) Presenting a series of POCs for senior stakeholders on how to expose ATG eCommerce platform in 'headless' mode to a Customer Contact Centre App, first directly via a APIs in a services layer to a Salesforce app, and then via a cloud based Microservice layer to a JavaScript front end.(John Lewis) Implementing microservices in Java, Spring Boot on Docker/AWS to orchestrate session, basket and promotion data from the ATG Commerce Platform for a front end in ReactJS as a step towards migrating to the cloud.(Holland & Barrett) In my spare time, I build and renovate properties in London and Montenegro. When I'm not doing that, I'm either hosting a beach BBQ/ Hike / Paddle boarding session, or hustling to organise the next one :)
