About Daniel Scheer

With over 25 years of extensive educational experience and a steadfast commitment to creating positive learning environments, I am focused on my role as Dean of Students with a mission to elevate excellence and drive student success to unprecedented levels. My diverse background encompasses various educational settings, from traditional classrooms to virtual instruction, homebound, alternative school environments, and post-secondary programs in both rural and inner-city settings. Holding a doctorate in instructional technology and educational leadership, I most recently served the state-sponsored LaSTEM outreach efforts across a 5-parish region as an education manager. Motivated by an unwavering passion for expanding access to STEM careers, I have returned to a high school campus, fueled by the determination to be a leading force in shaping the future of learning and innovation in our region. Through collaborative efforts with colleagues and partners, my dedication persists in nurturing a STEM-ready generation, empowering students with the knowledge and skills essential for thriving in an ever-evolving workforce.
