About Daniel Schies

I am a graduate of Rutgers Business School New Brunswick seeking employment in marketing, a field that I feel very passionate about. What sets marketing apart from other fields of studies is the inherent meshing of skills and abilities across all departments of business. To me, that is truly fulfilling. I have hopes of becoming an executive in a marketing department in the consumer goods industry. For the five years I was a team member at Oakley Retail in Bridgewater, NJ, we served clients with the best service I could offer, where we directly assisted in the selection of the perfect set of eyewear and apparel for any occasion. Through this position, I was able to hear countless clients' stories about how my clients selection of Oakley's products have impacted their everyday lives and am glad to have been a part of them. During my time away from school and work, I take pleasure in many activities. I am an avid powersports, enthusiast, having owned a Yamaha ATV since I was 13 and have just purchased a new Kawasaki dirt bike. Music is part of my everyday life; I take pleasure in listening to all sorts of genres. I absolutely love playing tabletop games, and I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, especially my Shih Tzu named Cooper.
