About Daniel Schnier

I am a Dipl-Ing. Arch. and the founder and initiator of the - Autonomous Architektur-Atelier in Bremen since summer of 2006. By Urban walks we have different people to know and appreciated who performed later in several projects together with us. On 1 May 2008 we moved in together with 16 other creative self-employed in the A before-time vacancy. On April 1, 2015, we are 50 people in the former sausage factory and Karmatransforming operated. The project is called WURST CASE. Since March 12, 2010 I am a developer of - ZwischenZeitZentrale (temporary use agency) in Bremen. Since then, we have accompanied conceptual than 100 temporary uses in Bremen and launched. Formation of communities around vacant buildings and abandoned places again is a major component of our work. Since 01 December 2013 (until 2015), the / Giving is a partner in the EU project „TUTUR: Temporary Use as a Tool for Urban Regeneration“ in the framework of the Urbact program in Paris/France. Since 01 November 2015 (until 2018) we are in the EU project "REFILL: Reuse of vacant spaces as driving force for innovation on Local Level" in cooperation with the city of Ghent in Belgium. The NZN Netzwerk Zwischennutzung is being funded by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building as part of its National Urban Development Policy and by the Bremen Senator for Construction, Mobility and Urban Development for a period of two years, from June 2023 to October 2025.
