About Daniel Schulz

I have just graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and have gained a diverse range of experience during my four years in college. I have worked as an intern at law firms, as an alternate election judge, and had a full summer of court watching in the Tarrant County courts. These gave me a bird's eye view of the field of law and government, which is the field I would like to make a career out of. I have also worked many fast food and warehouse jobs over the years, which have taught me work ethic and communication. I have also been involved in much community service while in college, from helping to build a haunted house called Scare For a Cure in which all proceeds go to cancer to cleaning up to helping clean up thousands of pounds of trash from the creek at Buttermilk Park in Austin, Texas. Additionally, I have been involved socially in the UT men's group Texas Wranglers and was elected by my peers to the position of Secretary in Spring 2023. Secretary of Texas Wranglers came with many responsibilities, including being the liaison between our constitution and the rest of the organization, adding amendments to the constitution when they are voted on, coordinating with the University to get rooms, running meetings and elections, being on our executive board, making our calendar, applying for awards, and taking minutes at the officer meetings. This gave me skills in communication, technical writing, bureaucracy, management, and leadership.
