Hi, I'm Dan, I have worked in the financial services industry since 2001, now with over 20 years' experience, I began my career with the Co-op Insurance Society as a Financial Adviser, before moving to the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society as an Independent Financial Adviser. I spent 10 years working for high street bank Barclays, where I specialised in Mortgage & Protection Advice, before making the move to work as an Independent Mortgage & Protection Broker with a well-established estate agency. Being independent enables me to access a multitude of providers, rates and the ability to give more solutions to match clients needs. Nothing is more satisfying than being able to assist people with one of the most important transactions in their lives, whether buying a first home, moving home, looking for the best deal when the current one has ended or raising additional funds, making what a client thought was impossible, often very possible. It's also not as simple as 'the lowest rate' its about getting the best deal, being available when clients need expert advice, as sometimes things get complicated or confusing and although I'm not quite available 24/7, its not fare off! My primary focus is providing excellent customer service, building long term relationships with clients, ensuring they receive the right guidance and advice for their individual needs. When I'm not working I'm kept busy with my family of 5 children, ranging from 9 - 18, all with a variety of interests, including, motocross, football, dance and Parkrun, its never a quiet weekend in the Sharples household.
