About Daniel Shaw
I am a materials chemist interested in contributing to solutions to some of the world's problems of energy production, transfer and storage or water conservation and storage. I graduated from Western Washington University (WWU) in Bellingham, Washington with a Master of Science degree in Chemistry. While attending WWU, I conducted research on the production of organic semiconductor thin films, which has recently been published in the journal of applied physics (shown at the link below). I have worked for two startups in the fields of alkaline fuel cells then zinc air batteries and have designed and executed experiments to advance various parts of alkaline fuel cells and zinc air batteries.
