Twelve years of proven experience effectively and efficiently managing both patients and staff. Extremely organized, caring, compassionate, and passionate for providing quality care to patients and their families. Experienced in different clinical settings, such as community/minor surgeries, Medical/rehab, Trauma & Orthopaedics Wards and as a Bank Nurse in Recovery, General Surgery, Burns Unit, Acute Plastics Maxillo Facial and Reconstructive and Private Patients Units. Most recent experience and specialization in Intensive Care, highly competent with haemodynamic monitoring, invasive and non invasive ventilation and haemofiltration. Leadership and mentorship training and experience as well as participation in quality Improvement projects, that had a positive impact on patient's care and safety. Able to appraise junior staff on their practice as well as mentoring them during their ICU course training and practice Since 2019 part of the Critical Care Outreach Team in East Surrey Hospital. This is a Nurse Led service, where autonomy and leadership are essencial skills to ensure a timely and appropriate decision making as well as in breaking bad news to patients and relatives. Experienced in follow up patients who have been transferred from Critical Care to ward areas, and to guide them and their teams to the best possible outcome, promoting patients ́ rehabilitation using an holistic perspective. Education of peers is also a big portion of the role, both at the bedside and through formal education programs. Currently formally teaching on Sepsis and AKI, a Study Day Developed by the Critical Care Outreach Team. Developing a mandatory Training on National Early Warning Score. Acquaintance with revision of policies or cooperation in their elaboration, promoting the excellence in care. Good interpersonal skills, an excellent team worker and always keen and very willing to learn and familiar with working in fast-paced and dynamic environments and highly committed to provide the best care always.
