About Daniel Simmons

I am a vision rehabilitation and education professional who serves clients from early childhood to senior adulthood, recognizing that each person has unique abilities and needs. I am skilled at establishing rapport with patients and forging trusting working relationships; my patients know that I am an advocate for their needs. I’m a person that wants to make a change in my neighborhood - be it local or global - by serving one person at a time, and ensuring that the person’s needs are met. For me, every day is a good day to help people by- assessing the patient's specific strengths and needs and working with them to develop a plan of care - working as a member of multi-disciplinary teams and advocating for the patient to meet the patient's needs - providing personal and caring therapy to the patient - helping the patient use assistive/accessible technology in daily living activities It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood — let’s go to work making a change, one person at a time.
