While our company’s founding dates back to 1930, Kadant Johnson was established when Kadant (NYSE: KAI) acquired The Johnson Corporation in 2005 and created the Fluid Handling product line. We proudly provide flow control products and technologies that help reduce energy consumption, improve machine runnability, and enhance efficiencies for long-term sustainability of our industrial customers. Our major products and services include: Rotary joints and swivels for steam, water, and other heat transfer fluids Precision unions for water, air, oil, and coolant Steam and condensate systems along with supervisory controls Steam specialty products Installation, repair, and NDT services While our customers are primarily in the packaging, food processing, and metals industries, we serve industrial manufacturers in a variety of other material processing industries including mining, oil and gas, chemical, plastics, and factory automation, among many others. With more than 25 years at Kadant, I have had the opportunity to serve in a number of commercial and operational roles at the division and corporate levels. At the division level, I lead a talented group of cross-functional leaders who strive to make a difference every day for our customers, our community, and our shareholders. In my corporate role, I engage with our subsidiaries to help communicate and execute growth-focused strategies for our premium offerings and market-leading brands.
