About Daniel Spears

Skilled data analyst with 2 years of professional experience, and several years of academic experience. Worked on projects to help develop KPIs for ticket teams; Continuous Improvement analyses for improving shipping performance; manipulated data to deliver insights to stakeholders; and presented findings to large groups of C level executives in weekly meetings. Worked with machine learning algorithms to predict late shipments. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, learning new things, training muay thai kickboxing, playing guitar, reading, watching films. I spent 12 years in spain teaching, learning flamenco guitar, learning spanish,and getting my PhD in experimental psychology. In my PhD, I designed experiments to induce rational cognition to test its effects on moral dilemmas. After finishing my Ph.D, I saw that I enjoyed working with data, and decided to move towards data analytics/data science, and started learning python, sql, and tableau.
