I’ve dedicated my career to empowering athletes with the technical and emotional skills to excel at the highest levels of the sport. Select professional/minor leagues pitching includes: Los Angeles Angels Arizona Diamondbacks San Diego Padres Affiliation Washington Nationals Affiliation Criollos de Caguas (Puerto Rico) Navegantes del Magallanes (Venezuela) Along with past teams winning 10+ championships, select individual awards include: California League All-Star Baseball America #1 Relief Prospect (CA League) California League Saves Leader Az Diamondbacks Instructional league MVP My coaching career began at the high school level where I helped students to be drafted to MLB and multiple 4-year universities. As assistant baseball coach at UCR, I was influential in multiple players being drafted to MLB teams and a focus on academics with 95% of the roster earning a degree. As director of athletics at the University of St. Katherine I entered a school with 30+ student-athletes within 4 teams. I helped to build the department to an eventual 220+ student-athletes within 13 teams. Developing team skill-sets led to four out of eleven teams winning conference tournaments in 1st year of eligibility. Taking on responsibilities as head baseball coach, I grew the program from 15 to ~50 student-athletes. My biggest responsibility was creating the overall athletic culture and long-term vision. I collaborated with school officials to create a study hall program to ensure academic success. Additional accomplishments at the University of St. Katherine include: Winningest Coach in the school’s history winning percentage) Most wins at NAIA level (80-50.615%) Only sport to have a #1 national ranking in USK history (2020 NCCAA) National postseason tournaments made in 4 of 6 eligible seasons — most in USK history Oversaw the school’s successful transition from the NCCAA to the NAIA. Developed the athletic department to add in 7 teams within 6 years and generate revenue from $300K to $6M.
