About Daniel Steeves

I graduated from keyano college in 2016 with a diploma in power and process operations and an ABSA 3rd class power engineering certificate. since then I've worked in the oil and gas industry for 5 years monitoring a large range of oil and gas processing equipment.from 2014 - 2021 I've taken on responsibility as lockout verifier, permit issuer, power plant operator, refinery operator and have been part of startup, shut down and maintenance teams at multiple work sites. I've worked on heat recovery steam generators, once through steam generators, boilers, glycol boilers, turbines, pumps, compressors, centrifuges, conveyors, heat trace systems, fractionation towers, and a large range of heat exchangers and pressure vessels. Recently I've gained experience monitoring and operating ammonia refrigeration systems, industrial ice machines, blast freezers plate freezers and ammonia valves and compressors. I continue to learn about new processes and new equipment every year and can bring a strong safety background to your operation from my existing following safety models set forth in the oil sands safety association (OSSA) and the ExxonMobil Mobil operations integrity manganese system (OIMS) I can be a valuable asset for your team! currently I reside in Victoria, BC and I am working for Agropur.
