About Daniel Sung

I grew up in a Korean immigrant family that ran a Mexican restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Weekends meant 16+ hour workdays, endless sacrifices, and watching my family power through exhaustion with nothing but grit and love. That upbringing gave me a firsthand education in resilience, the kind you don’t learn in classrooms. That mindset has stuck with me. It's changed how I think, how I lead, and how I navigate challenges; with persistence, adaptability, and respect for people who put their head down and build. Recently, I’ve worked with six different startups, helping each grow in ways that didn’t exist on paper, through scrappy innovation, deep curiosity, and the same relentless work ethic my parents taught me behind that restaurant counter.
