About Daniel Ta

As an Education Consultant at The World Bank, I work with the Pacific Secondary School Program (PSSP) to track and improve teaching quality in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) and Tonga. I collaborate with local stakeholders, conduct data analysis, and provide recommendations to enhance learning outcomes and teacher professional development.I am also a PhD Candidate at The University of Western Australia and a Research Assistant at Telethon Kids Institute, where I investigate the molecular and clinical aspects of MECP2 duplication syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects children's development and health. I have presented my findings at multiple conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, I tutor undergraduate students in Health and Society, Molecular Science, and Medical Research Methodologies, applying my attention to detail and presentation skills.My passion is to use my quantitative research and education expertise to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families, especially in resource-limited settings. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities of working in diverse and interdisciplinary contexts, and I aspire to continue learning and contributing to the field of paediatrics and education.
