About Daniel Tonelli
I achieved my Doctorate in Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trento, Italy, in 2020; my thesis focused on the management of civil infrastructure based on structural health monitoring. In 2018-2019, I have been a visiting scholar at Princeton University, USA, and Strathclyde University, UK. Currently, I'm a postdoctoral researcher at University of Trento. Italy. My research activity includes structural health monitoring (SHM), infrastructure management, value of monitoring information (VoI), Bayesian data analysis, and statistical decision making. I regularly attend the main conferences in my field of interest, including the SPIE Smart Structures/NDE, IWSHM, EWSHM, and ANCRiSST.
