Hi! I’m Daniel and I am a result-driven educator with excellent qualifications and a comprehensive teaching background. I have excelled as an English and History teacher in global schools across Thailand, China, and Japan. I am also acknowledged as an articulate communicator with expertise in delivering compelling, informative, and engaging lessons in classrooms. During my career, I have consistently exhibited pedagogical expertise in applying differentiation methods and scaffolding techniques for optimal academic outcomes. I am also adept at crafting lesson plans, producing test preparation materials, and monitoring student progress. I am experienced in supervising a team of teachers from diverse backgrounds. During my career, I have served as the head of the English Program at Assumption College Thonburi, one of Thailand's finest private schools. I led a team of 25 foreign teachers and Thai staff, focusing on projects for teacher retention, student engagement, and moral leadership. In my time in Japan, I worked closely with schools following the Fukushima disaster and provided ESL teaching to survivors there. My teaching philosophy is "Not everyone learns in the same way or on the same day" which is to say that I believe that all students are capable of learning any content that I teach, but they might require their own timeline or their own approach to tackling those challenges. As a teacher, I take it on as my responsibility that I work with each student to ensure they all cross that finish line.
