I have 26 plus years of experience in in the Construction Industry as a Project Superintendent, Construction Estimator and Assistant Project Manager of Commercial Tenant Improvements, Medical Facilities, Retail Spaces, Schools, Restaurants, Government Projects, Small Ground-up’s, Custom Residential Projects and Construction Defect Retrofits. As a Project Superintendent - I am schedule and budget driven, focusing on quality workmanship and keeping to company and OSHA safety standards on the jobsite. I have successfully managed and directed construction crews on projects with contracts ranging from $100k to $10mil staying on schedule and on budget. I am adept at project scheduling, on-site problem solving, communication and client satisfaction. As an Estimator, my duties have included, but not limited to; preparing realistic cost estimates from concept to construction ready, providing materials and labor cost data research and providing cost estimates based upon construction methodologies. I have provided construction cost estimates based upon Architectural drawings, Design/Build drawings and/or On-site jobwalk information on various construction projects, including analyzing subcontractor bids for scope of work and details, interacting with clients and providing a construction schedule based upon client timeframe and constraints. I have been able to maximize client satisfaction through my attention to detail, and attention to project schedule and cost utilizing my field experience which has led to being awarded projects up to $10 Million dollars. I have shared amicable relationships with several of San Diego County’s top performing sub-contractors allowing me to move projects forward in the most cost-effective and expedient manner. As an Assistant Project Manager, I have worked closely with the Project Manager, Homeowner Liaison and other Team Members submitting and tracking RFI’s, RFP’s, QC Standards, Implementing Safety Protocols, COVID-19 Health Protocols and Client Notification Letters. I have ordered and scheduled delivery of project materials and equipment that is necessary to keep projects moving forward, created a master list of contractors who are insured and whose licenses are current to enable for a more streamlined approach to bidding process and for contracting on projects.
