About Daniel Vandervort

I have been in warehousing/logistics since 2009. I started out as a receiving clerk at a small contracted warehouse in Wisconsin and worked my up over 6 years to management in that company. In 2015 I left that company to pursue a career as a steamfitter. I worked with a shop for about year before moving to Florida and making the decision to get back into warehousing/logistics. Through the various roles I've held over the years I have gained much experience in warehousing, logistics and leadership; from loading/unloading trucks to leading teams of 100+ people, currently running a warehouse myself and everything between. I am always looking for opportunities to grow, both professionally and personally and strive to be the best at whatever I am doing. As a leader, I firmly believe in earning the trust of those I lead. With this as one of my guiding principles, I have led teams that have done truly amazing things. Ultimately, my goal is to be in an advisory or consultancy role. I enjoy change and having the opportunity to think outside the box to have a positive impact.
