About Daniel Veit

Since its beginning in 1997 I spent my career in the financial industry, most of the time in product management for investment products at Deutsche Bank (PWCC). I had various positions in this area covering all product categories relevant for private banking clients: investment funds, structured products, bonds, shares and F&O. One part of my activities was related to classical product management tasks: set-up of a certificates distribution platform, joint development (with the manufacturer) of new structured products and fund concepts, improvement of pre and after sales. In addition, I developed and introduced new parameters for the investment business like a rule based and disciplined approach on product recommendations for investment funds and structured products or a new risk class system for investment products. During the last 4 years I have been responsible for implementation of MiFID II and PRIIPs requirements in all areas linked to product management. Together with my team of more than ten internal and external members I achieved to have all relevant topics up and running in time. Current focus is on sustainable investments: developing the strategic positioning of the bank and implementation of upcoming ESG requirements.
