Background

About Daniel Virgilio

I began my journey in the field of Information Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from FAETERJ (2009–2013), which provided a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, computer networks, operating systems, and technical support. While still in college, I joined the CECIERJ / CEDERJ Foundation team, working in network support and Linux administration. I was responsible for system monitoring, user assistance, and infrastructure maintenance — directly applying the concepts learned during my studies. Soon after, I contributed as a Computer Skills Instructor at the Seropédica City Hall Telecenter, promoting digital inclusion and training users in essential computing skills. This experience reinforced my purpose of combining technical expertise with social impact. In 2017, I transitioned to the private sector with Zion Tech Group, providing support in system maintenance, equipment configuration, and technical assistance — further solidifying my hands-on experience in corporate environments. From 2018 to 2023, I worked as a Desktop Support Analyst at Porto Sudeste, where I eventually advanced to my current role as an IT Infrastructure Analyst. In this position, I apply my expertise in infrastructure, information security (EXIN ISFS certification based on ISO/IEC 27001), servers, and networks to ensure operational stability and high-performance support.
