About Daniel Webster

Attorney Webster was raised and educated in Hanson, Massachusetts and graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in 1983. He attended Colby College in Waterville, ME where he majored in Political Science and received his B.A. in 1987. After graduating from Colby, he entered the Management Training Program at Rockland Trust Company and eventually became a Commercial Loan Officer and Commercial Loan Workout Officer. Attorney Webster worked as a Commercial Banker until April of 1995. He joined the Hanson Finance Committee in 1987 and served as Chairman in 1990. In 1990, Attorney Webster began attending Suffolk University Law School and received his J.D. in 1994. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar on December on December 21, 1994. Attorney Webster has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He then joined the Webster Law Office in 1995; initially focusing on Commercial Law. In 1997, Attorney Webster was elected to the Hanson Board of Selectmen and served as Chairman of the Board from May of until December of 2002. Attorney Webster was appointed to the Board of Trustees at Massasoit Community College by former Governor Paul Cellucci. In 2002, Attorney Webster was elected to the Massachusetts House of Representatives, where he represented the 6th Plymouth District until January of 2013. In 2003, Attorney Webster was appointed by former Speaker Thomas Finneran to the Special Committee on Court House Reform. Currently, Attorney Webster is the Senior Trial Attorney at the Webster Law Office. His practice includes various types of civil and criminal litigation. Although he is primarily a litigator, Attorney Webster's practice also includes estate, corporate and real estate matters.
