About Daniel Weinberger

I am a partner in the Business & Commercial Litigation Department in the New York office of FBT Gibbons LLP. I have over 15 years of experience practicing complex litigation in federal and state courts in New York and in federal courts throughout the country, and have substantial international litigation experience, both representing international clients in U.S-based litigation and working in tandem with co-counsel in cases throughout the world. I have worked with a diverse clientele, including global and boutique financial institutions, Fortune 500, mid-market and small companies in various industries such as financial services, transportation and health care, as well as high net-worth individuals. Although the bulk of my practice involves business disputes, I have litigated a wide variety of complex cases, including those involving U.S. securities laws, foreign estate laws, anti-terrorism laws and the Americans with Disabilities Act.Before joining Gibbons, I served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Rosemary M. Collyer of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. I began my legal career as a corporate associate in the New York office of King & Spalding LLP, where my practice was focused on mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance issues. My experience as a corporate attorney has provided me with a unique understanding of the business aspects of commercial disputes as well as the transaction negotiations and documentation upon which many commercial disputes are based.
