About Daniel Weinshenker

is a writer and a teacher and a carnival dog and a buyer of diamonds and taught himself to love olives and still listens to talk radio at night, almost every night, and a laugher and a nail biter and non-chit-chatter and a holder.spaces, of half sentences, of baggage and of stories. I've been an international facilitator of digital storytelling (formerly with StoryCenter) since 2003, started the office in Denver, CO and Washington, DC. I specialize in storywork with people (read: youth, healthcare professionals, and museum educators, adults, survivors of trauma, teachers, refugees). So.people. I am also a licensed social worker currently in hospice, holding spaces for talking about living in times of transition and change, and holding the hands of those I care for in whatever that means to them. I am also a MAiD (Medical Aid in Dying) advocate, a keynote speaker on the importance of stories, listening and telling (in healthcare, in our own wellness, and beyond).
