About Daniel Whitby

As a highly analytical and detail-orientated individual with a strong background in accounting and finance, I am confident in my ability to excel as a management accountant. I have a single exam remaining (Internal Accounting Systems and Controls) to complete my level 4 AAT and become MAAT registered. I intend to continue my development with CIMA, which will begin as part qualified due to the exemptions I will gain from my level 4 AAT. I have developed a thorough understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis. I am confident in my ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and have experience in giving presentations to senior management. I am a pro-active self-starter and I am always looking for ways to improve the processes and systems in place. My ability to think strategically, combined with my technical skills, has enabled me to effectively manage projects and deliver results on time and within budget. I am now looking to work for a company who values and supports professional development to achieve CIMA accreditation.
