About Daniel Young

As the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Circadian Risk Inc, I lead a team of software developers and security professionals to provide innovative Software as a Service solutions for risk analysis. Our products help clients understand their True Risk Score™ to an undesirable event on a daily basis, and empower them to make data-driven decisions to improve their security and resilience. I have over 20 years of experience as a security and risk advisor, and a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Security Management from Michigan State University. I am also a Co-Founder of the CSO Risk Council, a forum for enterprise security professionals to network, share best practices, and discuss solutions for specific risk scenarios. Our mission is to create a better process to develop and disseminate pertinent information and innovative recommendations to organizations that want to enhance their safety and security. In addition, I have been an instructor at Michigan State University, teaching courses on private security and critical issues in security, and a regional bioterrorism coordinator for District 1 in Michigan. I am passionate about helping individuals and communities prepare for all types of incidents, whether terrorist based or naturally occurring.
