Accomplished in the fields of Motor Control, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, Epidemiology of Physical Activity & Health, Adapted Physical Activity, and Biomechanics. It is my intention to guide students at the undergraduate or graduate level, specifically focusing on ecological psychology, dynamic systems theory and their relation to human movement. Currently, as an adjunct professor, it is my objective to deliver active classrooms and team based learning to enhance group dynamics, peer to peer interaction and increase motivation and the overall effectiveness of learning in the classroom setting. I continue to conduct research and contribute to the literature regarding team based learning as well as visual perception and its relation to Parkinson’s disease. Specialties- Teaching, public speaking, writing - 3-D Motion Capture: Design a layout, calibrate and align a multi-camera OptoTrak system which utilizes passive electrodes in order to collect 3-dimensional gait kinematics-EMG-data capture: Collect data using an 8-Channel EMG system utilizing BioWare-MatLab coding: Write programs and organize data using MatLab-Analyze Statistics: Determine statistical relevance of data using Microsoft Excel and SPSS.
