About Daniela Baiochi

As the VP Group Controller at Atlas Copco, a leading global industrial group, I have the overall responsibility for securing reliable, efficient, and high-quality financial and sustainability reporting and disclosure for the group and the parent company. I report to the Group CFO and provide analysis to group management, supporting strategic decision-making and business performance. I lead 5 teams with 60+ employees, covering group accounting, group controlling, group reporting systems and business intelligence, sustainability reporting and the accounting team for the parent company. With over 20 years of finance and controlling experience in four different countries, I have a proven track record of driving financial results and improving profitability across various business areas and functions. I have successfully managed the integration of several acquired companies, as well as the definition of target companies and the execution of due diligences. I have also led numerous projects in finance, accounting and controlling, including ERP implementations, merges and splits, large restructurings, taxes, compliance, cash generation, and internal audits. My core competencies include a high level of analytical skills, cost accounting and digital finance. I am passionate about leading the development towards automation, digitalization and efficiency of the finance function across the globe,increasing transparency and speed of financial data for quicker and informed business decisions.
