About Daniela Ballotta
I graduated in Psychology at the University of Bologna and obtained a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Parma. After having spent four postdoc years focusing on the use of MRI-based imaging techniques in combination with neuropsychology to study neural basis of cognitive functions in healthy subjects as well as in patients with dementia and other neurological diseases, I am currently working as fixed-term Researcher at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia on a study on the mechanisms of anosognosia in patients with Alzheimer’s Disease. More precisely, I am responsible for the acquisition and analysis of structural and functional MRI (fMRI) data from patients with AD and healthy volunteers.
