About Daniela Camargo

Growing up in a very artistic family, it was almost inevitable that I would become a fashion designer. My mother and grandmother are fashion designers, and their influence created an environment rich in creativity and inspiration. As a child, I loved playing dress-up in my mother's closet, but my true passion for fashion was ignited by my parents' company. Visiting their company every summer felt like my personal Disneyland. They managed everything from manufacturing to distribution, and I was especially captivated by the fabrics room, where I collected fabric swatches and trims. This hands-on experience provided me with a deep understanding of how a fashion company operates and inspired me to pursue a BFA in Fashion at SCAD. I graduated summa cum laude this past June, fully prepared to succeed as a designer. SCAD equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, ranging from sketching and trend research to advanced 3D design software like CLO3D. My work is driven by strong ethical values and a desire to contribute positively to others. I blend curiosity and innovation, utilizing color, prints, and technology to tell meaningful stories.
