I'm a skilled chemist with a deep interest in the circular economy, sustainability, and cutting-edge resource recovery technologies. Over the course of my 5+ years of research experience, I have established successful international collaborations in the realm of bio and nanotechnology, specifically focusing on metal recovery and the removal of dyes from wastewater. My line of research focuses on the development of innovative techniques for the recovery of valuable and technology-critical trace elements from wastewater. When I'm not in the lab or working on my research, you can find me cooking, weightlifting, painting, and traveling. Having explored more than 20 countries and lived in 5 different ones, I thrive on the constant challenges and exposure to change that travel brings. I believe these experiences are pivotal for personal growth and cultivating resilience. I bring those experiences to my work, which leads me to further develop my creativity in my research and experiments.
