About Daniela de Simoni

In Deloitte since 2016, previously in Unisys (1997-2016), I have almost 30 years of experience in consultancy, more than 20 spent in PHARMA industry (Sanofi and ROCHE), especially in the areas of Client Relationship Management (CRM), Sales Force Automation (SFA) and SAP S4/HANA (SD/OTC streams), with an in depth understanding of pharma processes and dynamics, participating in several large international projects. I have a solid experience in the delivery of user training, as well as in the planning and management of SIT and UAT in complex and multi-language environments. In Deloitte, as Senior Consultant, I have always worked for Sanofi (one of the biggest pharma company in Italy) as CRM Functional Leader, becoming the focal point between the business and the developing team, as well as the person in charge of the daily monitoring of all the interfaces and flows from/to CRM-SAP. From 2020 to 2022, as functional reference for the CRM area, I joined the worldwide project to design and implement the new SAP S4/HANA system: I was in charge for the assessment and scope, gap analysis and functional specifications for the SAP/CRM integration and managed all the SIT and UAT phases for the SAP/CRM streams and interactions. When in 2023 Sanofi custom CRM system was globally replaced by SalesForce CRM, I dealt with the data migration strategy and the change management strategy. My current assignment is in a SAP S4/HANA project in a large retail company, dealing in the Data Migration Phase (in OTC stream- SD module). Before joining Deloitte, I worked in Unisys starting in the Publishing Group dealing with installation and customization of multimedia complex archives in newspapers in Italy and abroad (Sole 24Ore, ABC Madrid, Newsday, The Times). Then I moved in the Change Management Team, participating to the “Irish Time” project on the re-organization of the newspaper as a media company Since 2002, I worked in Sanofi, contributing to create and develop their custom CRM system (implemented by Unisys with a third party), dealing with all the phases (from the proposal to the assessment and processes mapping, scoping and customization to the users’ training), and becoming the CRM functional leader and reference point for Sanofi in the management of their CRM. I also worked in Roche (2007-2008) as CRM System Manager, in substitution of the employee in maternity leave. In this role I worked on a Siebel/Oracle CRM system, acting as a focal point between the end users and the system developers.
