About Daniela Gallardo

I have always had such a passion for animals and starting in 2012 I made dogs my life. My goal is to constantly learn about, care for, train and rescue animals. Through hand-on experience as a volunteer and counselor I have learned to leash train puppies, comfort timid dogs, approach aggressive dogs, stop dog fights and learn habits and personalities. Building relationships with customers and listening to their detailed wants was essential for both my work experiences. To help in the adoption process you need to know information such as living situations, work hours, free time, active lifestyle, etc. in order to match a dog personality to the right home. As for my position as a camp counselor you had to get to know specific needs and personalities in order to put them in the correct play pen to avoid tension among other personalities. I have been told I have a gift with animals and that in a way I am a dog whisperer as I find joy in meditating large groups of dogs, sometimes up to 25 dogs in one yard. I adopted my first dog through my job, he is not only my whole world but he is also another great learning opportunity.
