About Daniela Gameiro

I started my professional career, at the audit department of a multinational financial services company and two years later I took the challenge of working at a newly created FinTech. In this last company, I was involved on the creation of several credit risk analysis procedures and on the training of new hires. I joined the firm at a very early stage of its life and accompanied its growth until it joined the Lisbon Stock Exchange. I have extensive experience related with the analysis of financial statements and management of small high performing teams. I am an easy-going person who is easily able to adapt to different job environments. As a Portuguese, I always like to gather around the table to have a good conversation while sharing a nice meal. Some of my biggest life decisions were taken during these occasions, in fact, it was during one of these gatherings that I decided to put my career on hold during a few months to discover the wonders of Asia. I am a very energetic person and during these months spent travelling, I could never limit myself to be just a tourist. In that sense, in nearly all the countries that I visited, I engaged in different volunteer projects through Workaway, and I also created a journal of my trip as well as a photographic portfolio.
